Biography - "Childhood"

I was truly blessed to have been born to two of the most loving and dynamic parents. My father served our country as a computer programmer in the United States Air Force. In seeing him dress in his uniform every morning, he taught me to love my country and the importance of protecting our freedoms.

My mother was a nurse. She delighted in interrupting my meals by regaling us with tales of her daily adventures. My mother wanted me to go into medicine; however, due to my queasy stomach, I decided to restrict my efforts to operating on computer hardware. Computers do not excrete the ichor she loved to describe.

As a young man, I spent my time in scouting, playing football and with my nose buried in a book.
